We understand the love for your own plushie, the one that you’ve been carrying with you for all these years. Unfortunately our buddies break sometimes, or they get dirty. That’s why we also want to offer the option to let us repair your plushie.
In the form at the bottom of the page you can make a request like this, but please read all information and conditions listed first.
Plushies or pillows that I won’t repair
There are certain wishes for which I have to draw a line, either because it will take up too much time or because it’s simply too complicated for me to make. Requests that make me feel uncomfortable will be refused as well. Like for example:
🍊 Chewed up toys from animals
🍊 Plushies with rubber parts, like for example a doll
Any damage to the fabric area is possible, however.
🍊 Plushies that are beyond saving
I find these difficult to reconstruct. In this case you’re better off requesting a commission for a new plushie.
The prices listed below are in € (euro). For a different currency you can use the Currency Converter from Xe.
Shipping is not included in these prices!
These fees will be added later because a package for a commission can differ in size and weight, and on top of that every country has different shipping fees.
This list is a rough sketch of what it could cost to get a plushie or pillow repaired, but costs can change depending on size, the amount of dirt and type of fur. These prices are based on material costs, time and love that is spend on the plushie:

Angry Juice is based in The Netherlands. Pickup is possible, but only with an appointment.
Products are shipped with services like DPD and DHL, but prices vary per package and per country because of distance, size and weight of the box.
Angry Juice is not responsible for what happens during the shipping process.
All products are packaged with outmost care, but it might happen that something happens after we hand it over to the shipping service. (Like damage or other problems.) In this case we do contact the shipping company to figure out a solution together with the customer.
Possible customs charges are to be handled by the customer themselves.
We accept payments through Paypal (for “foreign” addresses) or bank transfer (for Dutch addresses).
After placing an order we will send you a payment request (please make sure you provide us with the right address!). Please complete the transaction within the given time period.
For “foreign” customers:
Until the payment is completed we will not start the project. This is because we might have to order in materials first.
For local customers:
We will start on the project when the quotation is accepted. When a plush is returned after it’s repairs we will sent an invoice and payment request to the customer. Cash payments are also possible.
Cancellations and refunds
If you get any second thoughts, for example because you have to miss your buddy for a while, we understand.
This is why we discuss beforehand what will happen with your plushie. During this process we will also decide if we’re a match or not. When we send you a quotation you can tell us that you’d rather not continue with the request, and we’ll cancel it immediately. This process is entirely free.
You’ve accepted the quotation, we’ve already started working on your plushie, but you want it returned to you immediately? Unfortunately this will mean we will stop the process and return your plushie in the state it was in at that moment. In this case we will not finish the repair process and ship it as is, or return it in it’s current state upon pickup.
Important: When shipping or handing over the plushie there will be an invoice with fees for the time, materials we had to purchase and things that have been repaired already.
Queue and process
We aim to finish a plushie between 1 and 3 weeks. Unfortunately this may take longer if it’s a large and/or complicated project.
This means here will be a queue. Angry Juice only has one person on the team with sewing and embroidery experience, resulting in a queue when there is a high demand. Don’t worry, this simply means it can take a little longer before we can respond to your project request. This is why we can’t work with deadlines.

🍊 Removing stains or discolorations is not guaranteed. Of course we will do our very best regardless.
🍊 The treatment will only slow down the decay. It’s still possible that (new) areas of wear will form after your plushie arrives back home. Especially if it’s still being used (a lot).
🍊 Be careful with your expectations of this treatment. A plushie that has received a lot of love over the years might look a little different when parts have been washed or replaced. Changes in thickness, solidness and color are all possibilities. Everything done during the treatment is to slow down the decay of the plushie, with the intention to extend it’s original lifetime quite significantly.
Of course we will keep the look the owner has grown so used to in mind at all times.
🍊 We will always wash the plushie and replace it’s filling before doing anything else during an intensive repair. (The exception are plushies that can’t be washed due to certain materials.) Our reason for doing this is because plushies collect a lot of germs and bacteria which can cause harm to the one carrying out the treatment.
We wash the plushie with a scentless laundry detergent. For small repairs (like a new eye or a bit more stuffing) a wash isn’t necessary.
🍊 The treatment plan and costs are based on photos and descriptions provided by the customer. If the “damage” on the plushie turns out to be more severe than described upon arrival we will contact the customer with this information. We will make a new treatment plan and costs based on this new information, but it is possible that these will be higher than quoted initially.
🍊 When the owner of the plushie changes their mind after their plushie has arrived in our care (for example because of the previous situation) there will be an invoice to cover our used time, purchased materials and/or shipping the plushie back to the customer. This invoice is different for every situation.
🍊 It might happen that we notice that the plushie isn’t able to be returned to the desired state we agreed upon. In this case we will do our very best to get as close to the desired result as possible after consulting with the customer about how to proceed.
🍊 Treatment time varies per project. On average we take 1 to 2 weeks for small repairs, and 2 to 4 weeks for larger ones. The treatment time might be extended if we have to wait for (special) new parts or different reasons we have no control over. Of course this will be communicated to the customer as well.
🍊 Shipping a plushie (both to us and back to you) is at your own risk. Angry Juice is not responsible if a plushie is “lost” during shipping.
🍊 When a plushie is being returned after repairs we will always send an invoice and payment request to the customer. Please complete this transaction within 14 days. Cash or spread payments are possible as well.
🍊 All repairs are done by hand. It might happen that a stitch releases it’s hold after the plushie has been returned to you. In this case it’s a free repair – because simply put, it can happen to anyone. We do however have a 1 month guarantee. If any damage happens to the plushie after this month we will consider this “damage caused by use”, and we will ask for a fee to fix this for you.
🍊 The repairs are carried out in a smoke free home. We do however have pets.
