We understand the love you have for your favorite stuffed animal that you’ve cherished over the years. However, wear and tear or flattening can occur over time.

🍊 We offer the option to wash, repair, and/or refill your stuffed animal.

🍊 We also handle simple repairs such as shortening, fixing loose seams, or sewing on buttons for clothing, curtains, and other items.

The prices listed below are in € (euros). For other currencies, you can use the Currency Converter from Xe.

This list provides a general estimate of the costs for repairing a stuffed animal. Prices may vary based on factors such as size, level of dirt, and type of fur. Costs are based on material expenses, time, and the care given to your stuffed animal:

(Refilling, fixing small holes or weak spots, painting simple eyes or noses)

(Replacing/repairing eyes or noses, fixing large holes or tears, removing stains, adding weight)

(Reinforcing the stuffed animal, reconstructing limbs, replacing fur pieces, reconstructing missing parts [photos required to see the original appearance])

(Returning parts, adding scent pouches, adding pouches for extra weight)

Prices do not include shipping costs. Commission packages may vary in size and weight per country, so these costs are often calculated afterward.

 

🍓 Items we cannot repair

There are certain requests where we must draw the line, either due to the time required or because the repair is too complex to perform. Requests that make us uncomfortable are also declined. These include:

🍊 Pet Toys
Toys intended for pets to chew on or play with.

🍊 Stuffed Animals with Rubber Parts
For example, stuffed animals with rubber components, such as those found in dolls. Loose seams on the fabric part can, of course, be repaired.

🍊 Stuffed Animals Too Worn to Save
If a stuffed animal is in such a state that repair is not feasible, we cannot reconstruct it. In this case, we recommend creating a new custom stuffed animal through a commission request.

🍊 Rush Jobs
Due to ongoing projects or the need to purchase materials, rush jobs are unfortunately not possible. We will, of course, try to complete work as quickly as possible.

 

🍓 Shipping

Angry Juice is based in the Netherlands. Pickup is available by appointment. Products are shipped with services such as DPD and PostNL. Shipping costs vary per package and country. Angry Juice is not responsible for any damage during shipping. We package everything with care and contact the shipping service if any issues arise.

Any potential customs and/or import fees are at your own expense.

 

🍓 Payment

Payments can be made via PayPal (for international) or bank transfer (within the Netherlands). After placing an order, we will send a payment request. Please make sure to provide the correct email address! For international customers, the project will only start after payment is received, due to material procurement. For domestic customers, we start upon acceptance of the quote. Cash payment upon pickup is also possible.

 

🍓 Cancellations and Refunds

We understand that it can be difficult to be without your stuffed animal, and doubts may arise. Therefore, we discuss what will happen to the stuffed animal in advance to ensure it’s clear if we are a good match. You can indicate on the quote that you do not wish to proceed, and in that case, the project will be canceled free of charge.

If you have agreed to proceed and the process has already started but you want your stuffed animal back immediately, we will send it back in its current state or you can pick it up, without further repair work.

Please note: When returning or giving back the stuffed animal, an invoice will be sent for the time, materials purchased, and parts that have already been repaired.

 

🍓 Queue and Process

Our goal is to complete a stuffed animal within 1 to 3 weeks. Unfortunately, it may take longer for complex or large projects.

A queue may arise. Angry Juice has only one team member with sewing and embroidery experience, so high demand may lead to longer wait times. Don’t worry, but keep in mind that it may take longer for us to respond to your project request. Working with strict deadlines is unfortunately not possible.

🍊 Stain and Discoloration Removal
While we do our best to remove stains and discolorations, we cannot guarantee complete removal.

🍊 Treatment and Wear
The treatment will only slow down the wear of the stuffed animal, but it will not completely prevent new wear spots from appearing, especially if the stuffed animal continues to be used extensively after treatment.

🍊 Treatment Expectations
A stuffed animal that has received a lot of love over the years may look different after washing or replacing parts. Changes in thickness, firmness, and color are possible. We do our utmost to restore the stuffed animal to the closest possible state to its original appearance, considering the look the owner is used to.

🍊 Washing and Filling
In intensive repairs, the stuffed animal will be washed and refilled before further treatments are carried out unless the material prevents washing. This is to avoid harmful bacteria and germs for the handler. We use odorless detergent for washing. Small repairs, such as replacing an eye or adding filling, do not require a wash.

🍊 Treatment Plan and Costs
The treatment plan and costs are based on the photos and descriptions you provide. If it turns out that the damage is greater than initially described, we will inform you and provide a new treatment plan and cost estimate. This may result in higher costs than initially specified.

🍊 Cancellation After Arrival
If you decide to cancel the treatment after the stuffed animal has arrived, we will charge for the time and materials used, and/or for returning the stuffed animal. Costs vary per situation.

🍊 Irreparable Stuffed Animals
If during the treatment it is found that the stuffed animal cannot be fully restored to the agreed state, we will do our best to come as close as possible to the desired result. We will discuss the options with you before returning the stuffed animal.

🍊 Treatment Time
The treatment time is generally 1 to 2 weeks for small repairs and 2 to 4 weeks for larger repairs. The time may be extended if we need to wait for (special) parts or for other reasons. We will inform you about this.

🍊 Shipping
Shipping of the stuffed animal, both to and from us, is at your own risk. Angry Juice is not responsible for loss during transport.

🍊 Payment Terms
Payments are divided into “international” and “domestic”:

• For international customers, we send a payment request after the quote is accepted. Please make the payment within 14 days. The project will start only after payment is received.
• For domestic customers, we send an invoice and payment request. This can be paid after the item is embroidered and returned. Please make the payment within 14 days. Payment in installments is also possible for large amounts.

🍊 Payment in Two Parts
If the invoice is paid in two parts, please ensure the second part is paid within 14 days after the second payment request.

🍊 Handmade and Aftercare
As repairs are handmade, it’s possible that seams or other details may come loose after return. In such cases, negligence will be fixed free of charge within one month of the repair. After this period, damage is considered “wear and tear” and may be repaired for a fee.

🍊 Environment
Repairs are done in a smoke-free home, but there are pets present.
