💬 What exactly is a commission?
A commission is a fully unique, handmade plush toy or cushion based on your own idea or design. Each item is made specifically for you and exists only once.

🧸 What makes a commissioned plush different from a standard product?
A commission is not produced in series. Everything is designed, sewn, and finished by hand, tailored to your concept.

📝 Can I have full creative control over the design?
We collaborate, but I always ask for creative freedom. My style is an important part of the final result.

🖌️ Does my idea fit your style?
We review this together beforehand. If I feel it doesn’t fit well, I will let you know honestly.

📸 Will you share my plush online?
I often share photos of the creation process and the final result on social media.
If it’s a surprise or private commission, let me know and I will keep it confidential.

 
Design & Creative Process

🎨 How much creative freedom do you take with the design?
I stay true to your concept but adjust the design so it is technically feasible and fits my style.

🗳️ Can I give feedback during the process?
Absolutely! Feedback is especially welcome during the design phase to ensure all wishes are fulfilled.

🖼️ Can I provide reference images?
Yes, please! This helps me fully understand your idea.

🧩 Will my design be modified for feasibility?
Yes. Some details work better on paper than in fabric. Adjustments are made where necessary.

⚙️ Can I request changes during the process?
Small adjustments are sometimes possible. Major changes may incur extra costs or may no longer be feasible.

 
Pricing & Sizes

🏷️ What is a commission price based on?
Prices are based on size, complexity, materials used, and time required.

💡 What counts as “complexity”?
Think of many details, multiple colors, accessories, extra outfits, or intricate shapes.

🗛 What is the difference between the sizes?
Larger plush toys require more time and materials, so they fall into a higher price range.

📈 Is size always the main factor in pricing?
No, a smaller but very complex plush can be more expensive than a larger, simpler one.

Why are life-sized plush toys not possible?
Plush toys over 100 cm are difficult to ship, but we can always discuss options.

 
Extras & Customizations

👘 Can I request extra outfits or accessories?
Yes! This is possible for an additional cost.

🧵 Can I have a name or symbol embroidered?
Yes, embroidery such as a name, date, or initials is possible for a small extra fee.

 
Payment

⏳ Do I need to pay in advance?
Commissions are paid in advance to cover materials. The project only starts after payment has been received.

💳 What payment methods do you accept?
PayPal for international clients and bank transfer within the Netherlands.

⚖️ Can I pay in installments?
For orders over €300, a 50/50 payment plan is possible.

Cancellations & Changes

📲 Can I cancel after receiving a quote?
Yes, as long as the project has not yet started.

⛓️‍💥 What happens if I cancel after the work has begun?
If the project is in the initial phase, hours worked and materials purchased will be invoiced.

⚙️ Can I change my design after the work has started?
This depends on the project stage. Major changes are usually no longer possible due to materials and scheduling.

 
Shipping & Pickup

🗺️ Do you ship internationally?
Yes! Any import or customs fees are the responsibility of the customer.

💥 What happens if the item is damaged during shipping?
All items are packed carefully. Angry Juice is not liable for damage, delays, or lost packages.
If damage occurs or a package is lost, we contact the shipping service and seek a solution.

👕 Can I have my own clothing or item embroidered?
Yes! We do not keep stock, so it’s recommended to provide your own garment or item, as long as it is suitable for embroidery. We assess this beforehand.

🖼️ Can I see a preview of the design before you start?
Certainly! We always ask for approval of the design and placement before beginning.

👖 Is embroidery possible on leather, denim, or thick fabrics?
In theory, yes. The embroidery machine can even stitch on soft, thin wood.

📏 What is the maximum embroidery size?
Our maximum size is 36 cm by 36 cm. Suitable for large back embroideries on jackets or pillowcases. The item must be unlined, as the hoop needs to be rotated 180 degrees during stitching.

🗚 Can you do small embroidery, like initials?
Yes. Small embroidery, such as initials or subtle details, is possible on sleeves, pant legs, or beanies.

🌈 Do you embroider with gradients or metallic threads?
We use Madeira PolyNeon threads and only stock standard colors. Gradients, reflective, glow-in-the-dark, or fire-retardant threads are available by special order.

 
Design & Files

📁 Do I need to provide an embroidery file?
No! We can convert images, logos, and drawings into embroidery files. If you provide your own, our Brother embroidery machine only reads .PES files.

💡 What if my design is too complex?
If a design is very detailed, we discuss simplifications so it can still be embroidered nicely.

💾 Will my design be saved for future orders?
We only save complex designs such as logos or images. Names entered into the machine are not stored.

 
Pricing & Costs

🪙 How much does an embroidery project cost?
The embroidery machine runs at €35 per hour. The total cost depends on the complexity and duration of the project. A name embroidery is possible from €10.

🎛️ What do production costs include?
These are costs for marking, machine setup, and any design preparation.

📦 Are shipping costs included?
No. Shipping costs are calculated separately and may be determined afterward for international shipments.

 
Scheduling & Turnaround

⌛ How long does an embroidery project take?
Simple embroideries are often done within a day. More complex projects require additional time.

⏱️ Can I request a rush order?
No. Due to scheduling and material procurement, rush orders are not possible.

 
Limitations & Exceptions

⛔ Why are some items not embroidered?
Some fabrics or designs are technically unsuitable and may damage the item or machine.

🧣 Why aren’t stretch fabrics always suitable?
Thin and stretchy fabrics can get caught in the machine and cause holes or distortion.

Shipping & Pickup

🆗 Can I drop off or pick up my item personally?
Yes, drop-off and pickup are possible by appointment.

✈️ Do you ship internationally?
Yes! Any customs or import fees are the customer’s responsibility.

🔒 Who is responsible for shipping damage?
Angry Juice is not responsible for damage during shipping, but we do contact the shipping service if issues occur.

 
Cancellations & Changes

❌ Can I cancel after approval?
Yes, as long as the project hasn’t started. After that, incurred costs will be invoiced.

🚧 What happens if I cancel once the project has started?
The item will be returned or picked up in its current state. Hours worked, materials, and embroidery are invoiced.

 
Aftercare & Maintenance

🫧 How do I care for an embroidered item?
Wash the item inside out and follow the garment’s care instructions. Avoid high temperatures.

🛡 Can embroidery come loose or get damaged?
If washed at low temperatures and not tumble dried, embroidery will remain beautiful for a long time.
