Terms and Conditions – Commission

 

  1. General

Angry Juice creates plushies and other textile objects exclusively as custom-made, handcrafted items.
By submitting a commission request and/or accepting a quotation, the client agrees to these terms and conditions.

  1. Design & Creative Freedom

Each plushie is designed based on the ideas, references, and wishes provided by the client.

  • Angry Juice retains artistic and technical freedom in the execution of the design.
  • Exact copies of reference images or existing styles cannot be guaranteed.
  • Minor variations in shape, color, proportions, or details are inherent to handcrafted work.
  1. Quotation & Changes

After consultation, the client receives a quotation with a price estimate and a general timeline.

  • Changes are possible as long as production has not yet started.
  • Once production has begun, changes may result in additional costs and/or delays.
  • Changes are implemented only after consultation and mutual agreement.
  1. Price & Payment

All prices are in euros (€) and exclude shipping costs unless stated otherwise.

  • Production starts only after payment has been received.
  • For orders over €300, a 50/50 payment arrangement may be agreed upon.
  • For installment payments, the remaining balance must be paid within 14 days after the second payment request.

The plushie will only be shipped once the full amount has been received.

  1. Cancellation
  • Cancellation before the start of the project or before materials are purchased is free of charge.
  • In case of cancellation after materials have been purchased or production has started, incurred costs and worked hours will be charged.
  • If the plushie is largely or fully completed, refunds are not possible.
  1. Production Time

Each plushie is made entirely by hand.

  • The average production time is 2–6 weeks.
  • Larger or more complex designs may require more time.
  • The stated timeframes are indicative and not strict deadlines.

Rush orders or work with fixed deadlines are not possible.

  1. Final Result & Expectations

As this is handcrafted custom work:

  • the final result may differ from sketches or digital examples;
  • small differences in color, shape, or finishing are normal;
  • these differences do not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund.
  1. Shipping & Liability

Shipping is handled by external carriers.

  • Angry Juice is not liable for loss, damage, or delays during transport.
  • In case of issues, contact will be made with the carrier.
  • Any customs, import, or clearance fees are the responsibility of the client.

Liability is limited at all times to the agreed commission price.

  1. Quality & Aftercare
  • If you receive a plushie with a technical defect, it will be repaired free of charge within one month after shipping.
  • After this period, damage is considered wear or user-related damage.
  • Repairs after this period are possible for a fee.
  1. Copyright & Usage
  • The design and execution of the plushie remain the intellectual property of Angry Juice.
  • Angry Juice reserves the right to use photos of the work for portfolio, website, and social media purposes.
  • Any alternative agreements must be confirmed in writing in advance.
  1. Environment

Plushies are created in a smoke-free, pet-friendly environment.
Guinea pigs are present.

  • I work as cleanly as possible and limit animal hair.
  • Severe allergies must be reported in advance.

Final Note By requesting a commission, you entrust Angry Juice with a personal and often emotionally valuable idea.
This is handled with care, attention, and respect.

 

Terms and Conditions – Embroidery

 

  1. General

Angry Juice performs embroidery work using both hand embroidery and machine embroidery.
By submitting a request and/or accepting a quotation, the client agrees to these terms and conditions.

  1. Project Planning & Quotation

The project plan and cost estimate are based on information provided by the client, such as drawings, photos, dimensions, and thread choices.

  • Quotations are indicative and based on an estimate of time and preparation.
  • Changes or additions during the project may lead to an adjusted cost estimate.
  • Additional work is carried out only after consultation.
  1. Price & Cost Adjustment

The final price may be higher than the initial estimate, particularly due to:

  • additional time required to create or adjust an embroidery file;
  • the complexity of the design;
  • unexpected technical adjustments during the embroidery process.

The client will be informed of this as soon as possible.

  1. Risk & Liability

Embroidery involves technical risks.

  • The embroidery machine may jam or experience malfunctions.
  • This may cause damage to the supplied item.
  • Angry Juice takes every precaution to prevent damage but cannot offer guarantees.

Damage caused by machine jams or technical malfunctions is at the client’s own risk.
Liability is limited at all times to the agreed embroidery costs.

  1. Material Suitability

Not all fabrics and products are suitable for embroidery.

  • Stretchy, very thin, or fragile fabrics may warp, distort, or become damaged.
  • Very small, extremely thick, or highly dense embroidery on such fabrics is discouraged.

The client remains responsible for supplying suitable items.

  1. Production Time

Production time is determined per project.

  • Simple embroidery: within one week.
  • More complex embroidery: on average 2 weeks or longer.

The stated timeframes are indicative and not strict deadlines.

  1. Cancellation
  • Cancellation before the start of the project is free of charge.
  • In case of cancellation after the start, time spent, materials, and any embroidery already completed will be charged.
  • The item will be returned in its current condition.
  1. Shipping

Shipping of items is entirely at the client’s own risk.

  • Angry Juice is not liable for loss, damage, or delays during transport.
  • In case of issues, contact will be made with the carrier.
  • Any customs and import fees are the responsibility of the client.
  1. Payment

Payment terms are divided between domestic and international orders:

International

  • Payment via PayPal
  • Advance payment after acceptance of the quotation
  • Project starts only after payment has been received

The Netherlands

  • Payment via bank transfer or cash upon pickup
  • Invoice and payment request are sent after completion of the project
  • Payment within 14 days

For payment in two installments, the second installment must be paid within 14 days after the second payment request.

  1. Quality & Errors

All embroidery is carried out with care.

  • Despite careful work, errors may occur.
  • In such cases, a suitable solution will be sought in consultation.
  1. Environment

Embroidery work is carried out in a smoke-free environment.
Pets are present.

Final Note Angry Juice works with care, craftsmanship, and respect for every item.

Terms & Conditions – Plush Toy and Textile Repair

 

  1. General

Angry Juice provides plush toy and textile repair services based on handcrafted work. By submitting a request and/or accepting a quotation, the customer agrees to these terms and conditions.

  1. Expectations and Results

Although we work with the greatest possible care and attention, we cannot guarantee a specific end result.

  • The removal of stains or discoloration cannot be guaranteed.
  • A plush toy or textile item may differ in color, thickness, firmness, or appearance after treatment.
  • Repairs may slow down further wear, but cannot fully prevent new or continued wear, especially if the item continues to be used intensively.
  • We strive to restore the item as closely as possible to its original appearance, taking into account its condition and the appearance the owner is accustomed to.

Please note that the emotional perception of a repaired plush toy may differ from expectations, despite careful execution.

  1. Photos and Information

Quotations and treatment plans are based on the photos and descriptions provided by the customer.

  • These photos also serve as a reference for the condition of the item prior to treatment.
  • If, during the repair process, the damage appears more extensive or different than initially described, the customer will be informed and a revised treatment plan and cost estimate may be provided.
  • Any additional costs will only be incurred after consultation and approval.
  1. Washing, Filling and Hygiene

For intensive repairs, a plush toy may be washed and provided with new filling before further treatment, unless the material does not allow this.

  • This is done only when necessary for hygiene and safety reasons.
  • Fragrance-free detergent is used.
  • Minor repairs (such as replacing an eye or adding filling) do not always require washing.

Plush toys with extreme contamination, mold, strong odors, or health risks may be refused.

  1. Unrepairable or Refused Repairs

Angry Juice reserves the right to refuse a request if a repair:

  • is technically not feasible
  • is unsafe to perform
  • falls outside our area of expertise
  • or if the item is too worn to be responsibly restored

If, during the repair process, it becomes clear that full restoration is not possible, the available options will be discussed with the customer before the item is returned.

  1. Processing Time

All stated processing times are indicative and do not constitute fixed deadlines.

  • Minor repairs: approximately 1–2 weeks
  • Larger or more complex repairs: approximately 2–4 weeks

Processing time may be extended due to waiting lists, material deliveries, or other unforeseen circumstances. The customer will be informed accordingly.

  1. Cancellation
  • Cancellation before the start of the repair process is free of charge.
  • Cancellation after the item has been received but before work has started may result in costs (such as inspection or return shipping).
  • Cancellation after work has begun will result in an invoice for time spent, materials used, and any completed repairs.

If an immediate return is requested after work has started, the item will be returned in its current state without further finishing.

  1. Shipping and Liability

Shipping of items, both to and from Angry Juice, is entirely at the customer’s own risk.

  • Angry Juice is not liable for loss or damage during transport.
  • In case of shipping issues, we will contact the carrier; however, ultimate liability lies with the shipping service.
  • Any customs duties and/or import fees are the responsibility of the customer.

The emotional value of a plush toy or textile item cannot be expressed in financial compensation. Any liability is limited to the agreed repair costs.

  1. Payment

Payments are divided into domestic and international orders:

  • Such issues will be repaired free of charge within one month after completion.
  • After this period, any damage is considered wear due to use and may be repaired for an additional fee.
  1. Environment

Repairs are carried out in a smoke-free home. Pets are present.
